Nature of the service
Briefbox provides temporary email addresses without requiring a user account.
Data we process
Generated mailbox addresses, short-lived message content, approximate IP addresses for rate limiting and abuse prevention, optional User-Agent, and operational logs.
Purpose
To deliver inbox functionality, prevent abuse, and operate the service reliably.
Retention
Mailboxes and message bodies are deleted automatically after the TTL (default 10 minutes). Aggregated operational statistics and admin audit logs may be retained longer and do not include full message bodies.
Attachments
Attachment binary content is not stored.
Cookies and local storage
We store language preference and in-session mailbox credentials. We do not use advertising tracking pixels in the current version.
Third parties
Infrastructure and hosting providers. We do not sell personal data.
